The founders of Sylvania Handyman Services have lived in NW Ohio for over 60 years combined. They are committed to supporting local NW Ohio businesses and our community. Richard Burch, our Founder is a licensed general contractor with a proven track record of success.
Meet Our Founders
Richard Burch has been an established resident of Northwest Ohio since 1987. His career in the construction industry commenced in when he was 18. Following a personal setback in 2017, when his residence was destroyed by fire, Mr. Burch demonstrated resilience by rebuilding his home and subsequently establishing Burch Building and Remodeling. Under his leadership, the fully licensed and insured company has successfully completed numerous projects, solidifying its reputation for quality and reliability.
Mr. Burch entered into marriage in 2010 and values the time he spends with his wife and their two sons. He is dedicated to exceeding client expectations through meticulous craftsmanship and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Meet Our Founders
Michael Dempsey
Michael Dempsey is a lifelong resident of Northwest Ohio, having relocated to the region with his family from Lansing, Michigan in 1978. He is an alumnus of Springfield High School and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bowling Green State University.
Mr. Dempsey and his wife are actively engaged in the Northwest Ohio community. Their daughter is currently pursuing higher education at the University of Toledo, and his wife has dedicated her professional life to the Toledo Public School system since 2001.
Driven by a profound commitment to the region, Mr. Dempsey is passionate about promoting economic development and enhancing the quality of life for the residents of Northwest Ohio.
